This unique talent has granted him a wide-ranging perspective and deep understanding of diverse cultures, from Asian, Chinese, and Western to others, shaping his work in exceptional ways.Spencer adeptly showcases the versatility of techniques, genres, and cultural influences,seamlessly blending elements from Cyberpunk to Sino Culture. His journey commenced as a comic artist, gaining recognition for his creations “The Legacy” (强势) and “Releks.” In 1998, he collaborated with Hong Kong writer Chris Lau (刘定坚) to bring forth “Zu Warrior 2080” (蜀⼭2080), which was published in Hong Kong. In 2002, Spencer established his own studio, Studio Climb. Initially focusing on the game industry, he contributed significantly to notable works such as environment design for games like “Kingdom Of Paradise” and “天地之⻔ I & II,” as well as CG artistry for “Nano Breaker” (Konami PS2). Additionally, he showcased his skills as a storyboard artist for the game opening animation of “Super Mario Strikers” and others.

Wells’ novel, made its North American debut in March 2014. Furthermore, Spencer and Studio Climb played integral roles as the art director and production designer for “War Of The Worlds: Goliath.” In 2011, Spencer received an invitation to Fo Guang Shan in Taiwan to produce a 9-minute 3D animation short film titled “Buddha on Earth” for the Buddha Museum Open Ceremony. This animation has been translated into over 90 languages and widely distributed worldwide. In 2013, Spencer co-founded Transpicture Studio in Shenzhen, China. There, he directed the web series “Man Huang Ji” (莽荒纪) based on an original story by the Platinum Award-winning author, “我吃⻄红柿” (I Eat Tomatoes).
